Hi there!

I am Sarah

A wedding photographer living in an old farmhouse in Midcoast Maine with my computer obsessed kids, sweet little dog, occasionally vicious cat, and very handsome husband. I love all things wedding.

Once upon a time, I wrote romance novels with my photography degree. Then I realized that of course the better career was wedding photography, which is a collection of all the things I love. Every weekend you'll find me oohing over a wedding dress, and holding my breath for the first moment the groom sees the bride. My pictures now tell the story, perhaps better than I could with words.

The wedding style I like the most is candid, but I definitely don't mind posing a nervous couple, or arranging that perfect artistic shot before the light changes. I am patient, calm, and encouraging... I think I get along with everyone... I'm like the nerdy extra bridesmaid with a really killer camera. I love books, carrots (don't ask), and travel.

We could not recommend Sarah more highly - we had a very unique (somewhat disorganized) wedding and it felt like it was all a blur, but Sarah managed to capture the total essence of our wedding, the joy of our families and guests, and we felt like we got to relive all the special moments looking through her incredible pictures at the end. Multiple guests I’ve shared pictures with have said similar things - she somehow managed to totally capture the energy of the day - which is not something I think you always see with wedding photos. She was also incredibly kind, calm and relaxed and patient with two people who do NOT love getting photos taken normally, and she managed to take pictures of all the most special pieces of our whole day that we will look back on for years. Sarah was nothing short of incredible for our wedding and engagement photos. My husband and I are not from Maine, and she gave several great suggestions for photo locations. I usually book out 12-15 months. If you have a popular date (September early October) you'll want to book extra early. Most of my Saturdays for 2026 are booked at this point, but feel free to message me there's always the chance of a last minute cancellation.

About This Service

My engagement sessions are a great time for us to meet and figure out favorite poses before your wedding day. They last about an hour and I prefer the light starting at 2 hours before sunset. It can also be an opportunity to get photos with a pet that can't be with you on your wedding day.
